Josh currently plays for Leicestershire County Cricket Club as a top order batsman and occasional off-spin bowler. He won the man of the match award in the 2011 Friends Life T20 cup final.
He made his first team debut in 2007, aged just 17, but gained a regular place in 2008 with a series of impressive scores. This included 148 not out against Middlesex at Lord’s, an innings which made him Leicestershire’s youngest ever centurion.
In July 2012, Josh was named captain of Leicestershire’s limited overs side, and in 2013 he was named vice-captain for Leicester’s County Championship campaign.
He has played for the Dhaka Glkadiators in the Bangladesh Premier Twenty 20 tournament. His father is Russell Cobb who also played County Cricket for Leicestershire.
Josh is a great supporter of the charity and we are so pleased to have him as a Patron.
