Elaine's TCS London Marathon 2026!
​
This is the first year Edgar's Gift has ever had a charity place in the London Marathon and we are delighted to have Elaine Barrett representing us.
​
We wish Elaine all the very best for the day, and know she will be absolutely amazing!

2026 World Cup Predictor Competition

The tournament kicks off on 11th June with Mexico v South Africa and we will be running a predictor competition through to the final on 19th July.​​
​
Nick Leslie won the competition we ran for the 2022 World Cup and we look forward to people getting involved again this time around.

2026 Edgar's Gift Golf Day
​
We look forward to returning to Glen Gorse Golf Club for the 4th edition of our Edgar's Gift Golf Day, and hope to see many of the brilliant teams returning.
​
All details in the poster pictured. Teams of 4, £45 per player includes bacon roll with tea/coffee on arrival, full round of 18 competition with prizes to be won, and then presentations and BBQ after.​​​
​

Garden Glasto!

Our wonderful patrons Dave & Lindsey Oliver host an incredible day of live music and entertainment from Garden Glasto.
​
​An invite only garden party event where the generous attendees kindly make donations to Edgar's Gift. We are so grateful to the Oliver's for their continued support.
​
Here's to another day of amazing music, laughs, fun, and hopefully some sun!

TDF Roving Motor Show!

The brilliant team at The Car Factory (TCF) and The Dream Factory (TDF) are hosting an exciting roving motor show for charity on 30th August.
​
It will be taking place around South Leicestershire pubs, and further details tbc.

Danny & Team Kent to Paris Cycle
​
The brilliant Danny Brazenell and friends are planning an incredible cycle from their home of Kent all the way to Paris at the end of August 2026, exact date TBC.
​
Danny has previously completed many amazing fundraising events, having cycled to all 92 football grounds in 2023.
​
We wish all taking part the best of luck and can't wait to support the event.

The Dream Factory Road Trip​
The Car Factory and The Dream Factory team are planning a road trip outing visiting good causes in September, raising funds as part of the journey.

Annual Bimble​
Our annual bimble (a leisurely walk) returns for it's 3rd edition in 2026!
​
We plan to take in a 10km loop of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside and Ashby Canal.
​

Stewart's Equinox Epic

Our superb Trustee and Patron, Stewart Sale, completed Equinox24 in 2025 with his lovely wife, Jane, and for 2026 he returns to take it on solo!!
​​​
Stewart: "19/20th September 2026, I am taking on the Equinox24 at Belvoir Castle – a 24-hour endurance running event where the aim is simple (but far from easy): to complete as many 10km loops as I can in a full day and night."

The Car Factory Xmas Fayre​
After the great success of The Car Factory's (TCF) Xmas Fayre 2025, it returns for another exciting festive instalment in 2026.

The invite only event brought the festive cheer last year, and raised fantastic amounts for charity.
​
We look forward to being a part of it again, and thanks to the TCF Team.
