Later this month on 27th August the wonderful Danny, Ian, Billy and Brandon will be cycling from Sevenoaks, Kent, to the Eiffel Tower in Paris to raise funds for Edgar's Gift. The challenge is particularly close to the hearts of the team as they are riding in memory of their family member, Gemma, who sadly passed away from cancer at the end of last year. The team have been putting in the hard miles in training , and an amazing effort into fundraising having raised over £2,50

We had the pleasure of joining our great friends The Malcolm Whales Foundation down in Dorset in July 600 brilliant school pupils and teachers travelled down from Cambridgeshire to the Jurassic Coast to take on the gruelling 3 day fundraising walk from Weymouth to Studland! Complete with the iconic Studland sprint finish We have done the walk many times but this weekend we volunteered helping with various tasks throughout each day. It was inspiring to see the colossal amount

Garden Glasto was monumental and a great fundraiser for Edgar's Gift. An excellent line up of bands who all played for free, to support our charity. Top work from the sound man Andy, the event brilliantly organised and put together by our friends and Patrons David and Lindsey Oliver. On a personal note, got to hold a genuine MTV music award and met the man who won it for editing Peter Gabriel’s song ‘Sledgehammer’ in 1987. Amount raised for Edgar’s Gift was a whopping £3,471.

Great AGM for Edgar’s Gift on Sunday 14th June at our Patrons ‘The Car Factory’. We had an exceptional year, delivering 26 wishes for cancer patients plus 26 free holidays for patients and their families at our caravan in Mablethorpe. This is our best year ever for wishes and holidays. Looking forward to the things we’re planning for this financial year.

Congratulations to Paul Towers who was our 2026 Amy’s Gold Cup Challenge winner! Paul scored a brilliant total of 35 points and gets his name on the coveted main trophy, as well as his own trophy to keep. Big thank you to everyone that entered! You helped us to raise over £675 which covers the cost of nearly 2 holidays for young adults with cancer. Massive well done to Elaine Barrett who completed the Milton Keynes 20 mile run on 15th March and got silver award for time. This run was part of Elaine’s training plan as our TCS London Marathon 2026 runner.
