We were delighted to have secured 1 charity place for TCS London Marathon 2026. This is the first time we have had a place and only had the 1 place so took applications to then contact individuals to confirm if their application had been successful or not. Huge thank you to The Car Factory for their continued wonderful support. Their Xmas Fayre on 11th December was superb with a huge turnout and funds split between us & The Dream Factory. The amount we receive will help provide 3-4 holidays to young adults and their families / friends battling cancer. Very grateful to Steve, Vicky & all the team that made it happen.

November 29th was the 4th instalment of our football quiz and we had a fantastic evening. The night raised over £1.6k which is truly amazing! And then at the end of the night Isla B Bridal very generously donated £450 to pay for a gift for a patient. Thank you so much to the Isla B Bridal Team, we are incredibly grateful Big thank yous to: all the teams that took part & bought raffle tickets the wonderful Pete Cook for his hardwork as quizmaster and collating all the sponsors

Huge thank you to Lauren Elmore / Elmo Bakes for running a recent bake sale at the district nursing hub in Enderby. As you can see in the pictures, the baked creations looked absolutely delicious! A massive £210 was raised which is greatly appreciated by all at Edgar’s Gift.

We had the pleasure of providing an experience day at The Car Factory in Fleckney for James, along with his brother, Robbie, and parents Christine & Allan. It started with a full tour of the amazing facility and Steve (owner of The Car Factory) talking through all of the cars, and starting some up to hear their engines. Then the family were kindly taken out for a drive in a Ferrari and Aston Martin to enjoy the experience. Finished off with a goodie bag of treats and merchand

Big thank you to Amber Hudson & Hinckley Pharmacy Station View for having an Edgar’s Gift collection tin and charity information by the till. It was emptied recently and raised a brilliant £51.41. The tin is back in position for further kind and generous donations!

2025 Annual Bimble completed! It was a brilliant morning spent with a great group of people taking on our annual 10km walk. Huge thank you to everyone that got involved. We had the weather on our side and then enjoyed some refreshments afterwards at The Lime Kilns. Thank you to the pub team for their hospitality. A wonderful time and a fantastic amount raised to help further support for young adults with cancer.

The ultimate dream team of Stewart & Jane Sale completed their epic 24 hour Equinox challenge kindly raising funds for Edgar’s Gift. Hopefully they have now just about recovered after the huge effort they put in! As if 24 hours of endurance distance activity isn’t enough, the weather was torrential at points as well. But the legends kept pushing on and completed the challenge together  raising over £560 in the process! That will help provide a couple of holidays to young adul

Massive thank you to our friends at The Malcolm Whales Foundation for their very kind annual donation of £5000 to Edgar’s Gift. It costs us roughly £8000,now per year in fees for our static caravan holiday home at the Haven site in Mablethorpe. This donation of £5000 per year from TMWF is a massive support to us and means we never have to worry about raising most of the funds for the caravan. It was a brilliant day, with 22 teams, the usual amazing location of Glen Gorse, and the sun out in full force we raised £2k which can provide 5-6 holidays for patients at our caravan. Thank you to everyone that attended the day, helped make the day happen, and well done to all team and individual winners.
