So grateful to Damien Whales and all the wonderful team at The Malcolm Whales Foundation for their continued support. This is a special partnership that we cherish. Many great memories shared together over the years on the iconic Dorset Walks. And these donations have enabled us to provide holidays to over 100 young adults with cancer at our holiday home in Mablethorpe.

Our wonderful trustee & patron, Stewart Sale, and his brilliant son, Josh, have woke up this morning at Belvoir Castle ready to take on Equinox24! Equinox24 is a 24 hour run event around a mixed terrain 10k loop against the clock. Go as far as you can in the allotted time. You can take on the event as teams or solo. Both Stewart and Josh are doing it solo. They will set off at 12:00pm today and finish 12:00pm tomorrow. Over £625 inc gift aid raised already which is incredible

Our 3rd year and what a brilliant Bimble it was. Big thanks to the 35 people that took time out of their Sunday morning to join us. Well done to our walking lead Sharon Paula and water and cake support Howard Parkin. From our Bimble bake sale yesterday and today’s donations we raised over £400 which covers the cost of a week holiday for a cancer patient and their family / friends at our holiday home. Thank you also to the lovely team The LimeKilns Burbage for hosting 23 of us

Huge thank you to all parkrunners and supporters at Hastings High School parkrun! A whopping £170 raised from the bake sale. As a local voluntary charity team every penny will go directly towards providing gifts, experiences and holidays to young adults with cancer. Massive thanks to Elaine Barrett RD who helped organise / bake, and Lauren Elmore of Elmo Bakes kindly donating an array of delicious items like tear share breads, sausage rolls, rocky road bites and granola bars

Sevenoaks to Paris 174 mile cycle in 24hrs. As if the challenge wasn’t big enough the guys were hit with a 2hr late ferry, 40mins delay at the port on arrival in Dieppe, 1hr 40mins thunderstorm, 3 flat tyres, and a broken phone which had the route on!! Talk about curveballs, but the guys pushed on and still managed to finish the challenge as planned. Danny, Ian and Billy have raised over £4.8k which will help provide holidays to 13 young adults with cancer. Incredible amount.

Later this month on 27th August the wonderful Danny, Ian, Billy and Brandon will be cycling from Sevenoaks, Kent, to the Eiffel Tower in Paris to raise funds for Edgar's Gift. The challenge is particularly close to the hearts of the team as they are riding in memory of their family member, Gemma, who sadly passed away from cancer at the end of last year. The team have been putting in the hard miles in training , and an amazing effort into fundraising having raised over £2,50

We had the pleasure of joining our great friends The Malcolm Whales Foundation down in Dorset in July 600 brilliant school pupils and teachers travelled down from Cambridgeshire to the Jurassic Coast to take on the gruelling 3 day fundraising walk from Weymouth to Studland! Complete with the iconic Studland sprint finish We have done the walk many times but this weekend we volunteered helping with various tasks throughout each day. It was inspiring to see the colossal amount

Garden Glasto was monumental and a great fundraiser for Edgar's Gift. An excellent line up of bands who all played for free, to support our charity. Top work from the sound man Andy, the event brilliantly organised and put together by our friends and Patrons David and Lindsey Oliver. On a personal note, got to hold a genuine MTV music award and met the man who won it for editing Peter Gabriel’s song ‘Sledgehammer’ in 1987. Amount raised for Edgar’s Gift was a whopping £3,471.

Great AGM for Edgar’s Gift on Sunday 14th June at our Patrons ‘The Car Factory’. We had an exceptional year, delivering 26 wishes for cancer patients plus 26 free holidays for patients and their families at our caravan in Mablethorpe. This is our best year ever for wishes and holidays. Looking forward to the things we’re planning for this financial year.
