Leicester Cancer Community Network
It was a pleasure to be involved with the Leicester Cancer Community Network introductory session on Wednesday 21st October.
Hosted at the wonderful Wesley Hall Community Centre the afternoon brought together charities, community organisations, healthcare partners and people with lived experience from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to launch the foundations of the Leicester Cancer Community Network (LCCN).
Our shared ambition is simple: to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
It was great to meet with Syed Miah from Macmillan and all the other wonderful people from organisations:
Sue Young Cancer Support, Hope Against Cancer, Young Lives vs Cancer, PASIC, Together Against Cancer, Healthwatch, Live Cancer Free, Apna Pan, Celebrate Our Similarities, Neurodiversity Support CIC, CARS, and all other attending organisations and individuals.
Huge thank you to Courtney and team at Sue Young Cancer Support for inviting us along.
When we work together we can reach and support more people.
Together, we can make sure no one faces cancer alone.
